The double function of the Norwegian nursing home, being both a care facility and a home, can only be ensured at the highest standards, by implementing the most flexible and future-oriented solutions.
Challenge
- The Nursing Home had an old obsolete Nurse Call System. The Municipality was replacing fixed phones and Dect handsets with mobile phones.
- The Nursing home wanted to implement new solutions like electrical locks, wander detection, etc.
Solution
- Replacing old Nurse Call System with iCall, including an LB-display room panel in each room and IP corridor displays. Integration with 3rd party wireless, electronic locks and IQMessenger server.
- Replacing messaging to Dect with messaging to IQ SmartApp.
Result
- An eHealth solution build for the future.
- A system that supports the unicipality’s work processes.
- A system for a long term partnership between municipality and vendor.
